Chinese Sushi???

The theme for our blue and gold dinner this year was "Chinese New Year", so, we stretched it a bit and make a candy sushi cake. Do Chinese people eat sushi? I got to thinking it might just be a Japanese cusine, but oh well. The Chinese letters say "Blue and Gold".
